They had that on their site well before the Beeb. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-30891...
Very sorry to hear about this, but it would not surprise me to read that it is smoking related, she hardly ever had one out of her mouth.....of course the cause could be something completely unrelated.....
Poor "Ken", what a torrid time he's had recently.....both on and off the cobbles..

So who's not going to survive the buck crash, if anyone?
Was lead to believe it was a big tragedy but can only see that it could be Sinead of Carla, unless one of them takes a turn for the worse of something.
Bt tame really, was expecting more.
Was hyped to death, really very badly done as a stunt. Everybody will survive although Sinead will be paralysed, however knowing Coronation Street she will doing a jig by Xmas. Was lead to believe it was a big tragedy but can only see that it could be Sinead of Carla, unless one of them takes a turn for the worse of something.

I have seen 'Carla' quite a lot recently in various things...
I started watching Cold Feet again and she was also in Murphy's Law and Dream Team which I've watched of late.
One of the funniest episodes of Coupling featured her. The one where Jeff said the immortal words "I've got too many legs!"I started watching Cold Feet again and she was also in Murphy's Law and Dream Team which I've watched of late.
Well worth a watch.
I'm late to the party as usual, cos I work at night and have to watch my recording in t'morning.
First of all - terribly sad news about Anne Kirkbride. That came as a bit of a shock to me, and I feel a bit ashamed about my little rant about Corrie making up stories to cover the absence of leading actors. She kept that one quiet, and to their credit so did the Corrie staff. I agree with Wacky - I got the impression that the actress was a heavy smoker in her everyday life. It may not be the root cause, but you have to wonder.
I thought the bus crash was sort of OK by soap standards. As is the custom with this style of show, the bus was "launched", all 2/3 tons of it, by what appeared to be a tree root. Best of all was the sound effects, evidently borrowed from dive scenes in "Das Boot". Lots of random creaking and groaning.
The props guy came up trumps with the car that caused the crash - gold and stanced MX5 with drifting-style decals, just what you'd see behaving in that manner. On a lighter note - Sean had blood on his upper lip that made him look like a young Adolf Hitler.
Sally - "Is the hotel 4 or 5 star?"
Carla - "It was 5 star until tonight......."

It was an S2000- and the only one to have a very vocal V6 soundtrack...
You're both correct. I've just googled an image. It was so "f***ed about" that I didn't recognise it - sacrilege. The S2000 is a "proper" car and a sure bet for classic status in a few years time. Why of why would anyone do that to a nice car? Why don't they reserve their "skills" for some old banger which was due for the scrapheap?
And where does Street Cars keep this bus? We've never seen it before IIRC. Never been mentioned. Anyone would think that soap writers make up scenarios as they go along.....
