Discovered this yesterday and became properly hooked. Binged the entire first season within a day. Haven't done that before.

The story is great, the characters are interesting, especially how messed up they all are. Lee Pace and his eyebrows steal every scene. Plus, it's got the occasional classic Porsche. What's not to love?

Looking forward to carrying on with it, but I'll give myself a day or two off first.

Enjoying series 4. I'm up to ep3 and I still can't work out how it's all going to pan out.

So I'm behind on GoT (season 7 - the last two episodes, as we were abroad) and haven't watched any of Season 4 of this either... I'm more inclined to watch this than GoT!

Watched all 3 episodes available so far. smile It's not quite on a par with the earlier seasons but seems to bubble up neatly in episode 3....! Looking forward to episode 4.

Although I can't help feeling that they could have spun this season out for 2 to 3 seasons. They've covered a lot of technical ground in a very short space of time.

This last season does feel rushed but I'm grateful they have been given this final season to tie everything up and bring it to the Internet age. I'm interested if they are going to go as far forwards in time as the smartphone era, then Joe can finish being alternate universe's Steve Jobs with a presentation on a huge stage while wearing a black turtle neck.

Can't believe this has finished now and some of the last few episodes have been great.

The final episode was definitely rushed in terms of timeline, but certainly worked well given it was going to finish - although a shame that it wasn't an extended episode or something.

Wow. Might have to watch it all again!

Won't post any spoilers - as some might not have watched all of it yet.

I never really got over the first season trying to paint Joe as some sort of messianic Steve Jobs figure. His subsequent mellowing into this semi-chilled “guru” persona jarred and I was always waiting for his return to origin.

In the end, I think I only really liked Gordon and Bos, the others having really odd reactions to situations and odd motivations that I couldn’t understand.

I generally enjoyed revisiting the computer revolution that I lived through but the series writing was a bit hit ‘n’ miss to me.

I don't think Joe was ever supposed to be Jobs... He was a bit of a tortured soul really and had flashes of mad inspiration which either failed or succeeded and he didn't seem happy with either outcome..!

I really enjoyed it, the music choices were excellent and some of the character progression was brilliant. It did go a little off the boil here and there but in essence it was really well thought out and well produced.

Really loved this show. Sad it’s over but love how they wrapped it up.

Agree about the music - I’ve had many a Spotify binge after hearing random tracks on this. Excellent.

Eta, I just realised that Joes last words of the show were the same as his first words of s1e1.

Well season 1 was intriguing, season 2 gripping, season 3 addictive and season 4 so far really st.

Its very good but could have been brilliant if the writers had'nt got caught up with a higher shagging and shouting quota over tech discovery balance.

It really starts from season 2 unless your a hardware fan, its like a different show from season 2 and 3 then another one again in season 4.

Enjoyed it but left feeling a bit disappointed.

I must be a hardware fan as I liked season 1.
