I'm going for Nessa being a fully paid up member and leader of Hezbollah. Her spy spied on the James Bond type with the dodgy laptop, she calls in the scar face bad boy from Palestine to eliminate him. Still think Nessa might be Kasims mother and scar face the father, Stockholm syndrome and all that.....
In which case I wonder what kind of work Nessa's foundation is really doing - I think it's a little more sinister than simply providing broadband internet to the West Bank.
Financier too........

When she asked that nurse on her door step about the phone in the hospital 'do you know who I am' it was delivered with a bit of menace.
She is torn though as when conferred with the nanny saying she had done something bad, could have been after her calling in the hit man........

Did think the bodyguard mistake was a bit odd.
But enjoyable still, started to get interesting

Watched the first three now.
Happy to see the new British drama statement, but then less happy when it kicked off with a well known American name, but it's quite cosmopolitan, so OK.
It's rather good.

Watched Edge of Darkness episode 4 tonight...brilliant.

As was I, although thought they were making it a bit too obvious in the initial episodes and possibly trying to put us off the scent.

No not just you, we're watching it too and really enjoying it. Sufficiently complex with several sub plots.

From last week or the week before, he's the one that raped/ abused her. Hugh did say the previous week he could get him sorted on tax grounds, Nessa declined, but this week she did ask Hugh for a favour which was obviously his home address....

Really enjoyed it again this week, did anyone catch the code name Atika used when dialling in?

Wasn't expecting the latest turn of events.

He certainly is and yet this is the first thing I've been aware of him in.

Sort of hoping most loose ends will be tied up in the last episode. Not convinced they all will though. Enjoyed it immensely nonetheless.

Don't know without rewinding it on iplayer.
When she used the sat phone over scar faces body she reported in with a name that didn't sound like Atika to me, perhaps it was her real name before going deep under cover?

Edited to add.
OK just switched on the VPN and done exactly that.
Atika picks up scar faces sat phone and dials in and says 'this is Diggen' or something like that, to which the reply is why are you using this phone (she has her own sat phone seen just before when she tried to call it off as the wife was there)....so my original statement that it was her code name stands. I suspect that Atika maybe the honourable woman in the end?
