It pretty much shows what man will do to survive. The darker section of society.

It's very good, once they're over the teen drama beginnings. Once it finds its feet halfway through the first series, big thumbs up from then on. A bit like Agents of Shield really, the first half of series one was all a bit bad guy of the week, then it got going.

I started watching the 1st series with my kids but at about episode 5 it started getting gruesome with torturing, executions and other violence so I banned them from it.

Early episodes were like some Disney teen thing in space then it went all Jack Bauer and worse (In a good way).

Out of interest how much of it did you watch? It's at least a third to half way through the first series that it turns. I can see how the first few episodes come across as a bit teeny.

Now, I know that people are saying it gets better but my TV time is limited and I can't be bothered to slog through something that might get good later on. The first episode needs to grab me. Not did this not grab me but I actively hated it rather than being indifferent.

Start with episode 5 then as there's always a synopsis at the beginning to tell you the story so far

Yeah the first episode is probably the worst for it Felt like it was aimed at the Twilight audience.

Been watching the new series a day after the States so five episodes into series 3, absolute tripe. First two series are so good, but it's just really over complicated now.

It's gone from Melrose Space, the 1st series to a kinda Game of Thrones with war lords, tribes, battles, fights to the death. Shame it's on E4 as I bet it looks good in HD.
