Typically American so far, full of pretty people.
Pretty much the reason I decided it'd be a 'no'.
Looks utter st, like 80% of the sci-fi that comes out of the US.

I want to say it's a bit like the start of Lost, but I only saw about three episodes of that before Five (or whoever) stopped re-running it on a Saturday evening. But people get stranded, some go off to explore and get attacked by something mysterious. And the series trailer earlier in the evening gave a bit away, and the EPG info for while I was trying to find when it's on next week gave another bit.

I don't mean I've figured out how each of the rest of the episodes run.

Doctor/Mother is from 'Person of Interest', I think.

My 12 year old daughter wants to watch this, so as it was on after 9 we watched it last night to check for suitability.

No massive sex, swearing or gore we noticed... but by God it was bad. Really, really poor.

We will let her watch it, but check every 5 minutes or so that her brains aren't dribbling out of her ears smile

Thought I'd give this a go earlier. Had to turn it off and delete after 40 minutes of really trying to get into it.

As bad as Terra Nova.

Again, only the impossibly good looking get to live in the future, according to trash US TV series'.

After talking to mates tonight who have seen it before it got to E4, I might give it a few weeks, apparently it gets good later in the series, episode 1 was an intro to the characters and not really representative of the series. We'll see.

Finally got around to watching Ep1 last night - it seemed okayish. I'll give it a couple more episodes.

Don't throw, those bloody spears, at me.

Thought it was okayish.

Will watch for another couple of episodes to see if it gets any better.

Watched the first episode on 4 this evening. Unlike the rest of you, I'm going to give it another epidose or so before jumping to any conclusions.

All I'll say is, I don't see how that carnivorous river snake could have evolved in a mere 97 years.

Radiation, so it's mutant. Mutants can be anything at all... in Tellyland wink

Like I said before they are not on Earth. Flora that glows at night, weird carnivorous animals and giant spears.....

They are on Pandora I tell you.

Give it time. I've watched the whole first series and there are some pretty graphic deaths and a fair bit of sex. It's only lacking in the swearing!!

We'll keep an eye on it then. Although if the sex involves snogging first, she'll probably turn it off in disgust anyway!

Seemed a bit better tonight than last week. It's not the greatest so far but it's watchable. Maybe better than Under The Dome.

It is not too bad. Brain out TV and better than what is on the other channels at that time.

I've watched the full series, I enjoyed it after getting over the starting 5-6 episodes (these are the scene setters). Some great concepts, clear that the makers are trying to be all things to all men, with aspects of lots of different very popular series/films thrown into the pot, but they did it well, stick with it for a few episodes.

It helps that I enjoy the 'post-apocalyptic survival' genre of TV.

Its far better than 'revolution' which had a great concept but was let down by the hammy acting and terrible sets.

I wouldn't let a 12yo watch it cannibals eating people, sex, gore, violence are in abundance, also amateur surgery, torture, murder within the camp via various means, I didn't see any nudity and no swearing either

Stuck with this and it has got quite good. Trouble is as it started like a teen series I let my kids watch it but last night's Jack Bauer solution to a terrorist problem episode yikes
