I was surprised that the people being drilled for bone marrow were still conscious - wouldn't they have passed out? And didn't Maya get a transfusion earlier in the series, wasn't she the one they tested it on with Jaspers blood (not bone marrow) and found out it cured them? In which case, why was she affected in the last few scenes? Or is that the difference between the blood transfusion and bone marrow, one cures the effects, the other gives immunity?Still, looking forward to the next series.

It does, I initially wrote off this series because of the usual pretty boys and girls. But I started to watch the second season and it did seem to get pretty good.Although, that actress who plays Lexa, the leader of one of the tribes is by far and away one of the worst things about the show - her facial expression never changes and is not in the least bit convincing as a leader of a ruthless tribe!
It doesn't bode well for The Walking Dead spin off 'Fear the Walking Dead', as she has second billing on the IMDB page right now!
I enjoyed the first series but thought it took too long to build. The second series was fantastic! I was genuinely shocked at the ending. From what I gather the blood transfusion effects were temporary, the bone marrow permanent.
It's been signed for a third series so it will be interesting to see where they take that one.
