Reviews appear to be at both extremes of the scale http://m.imdb.com/title/tt2661044/reviews?ref_=m_t...

I thought from the adverts it looked like a st, even more sci-fi version of The Hunger Games, which itself was a st, sci-fi version of Battle Royale.

I'm not really giving a damn about any of the characters yet.

Me neither. Do I stay with it or give in now. I had the same thoughts about Under The Dome. Cliffhanger ending made it a bit Predator.

Hmm.

Similar, might give 1 more a go and if it doesn't improve I won't bother with any more.

No spoilers; it does start slow, but improves massively.

I watched the first one, not bad so far if a bit predictable.

The ending! it all makes sense now. The luminescent forest, the scale of the thing thrown, strange creatures....They went through a wormhole and they have landed on Pandora and the Na'vi are not happy.

ETA the doctor/mother looks and sounds like a young Kathryn Janeway from Voyager.

I watched it. Did think it is really just The Hunger Games in series form. But I will give it another week or two to see if it develops or is binned.

I'm usually all over anything post-apocalyptic but, TBH, the quick check I did on this suggested it was going to be your typical US teen angst series but transplanted into a pseudo-SF setting. On that basis, I didn't bother.

Did I miss anything? Should I find it on On Demand and give it a go.....?

What, like complete season spoilers?

Like what happens to the space station, or who pops up in the season finale? That bloke from Hollyoaks appearing?

It has some irritating love triangles that spoil it a bit, but overall I found it entertaining. Worth persevering for at least a few episodes.
