Keeping to the original spirit of the thread there's no getting past William Shatner for me (especially in a narrow hallway). The clue's even in his name. KHAAAANNN!

No one on that list, that's for sure.
Richard Burton?
Brando?
Alec Guinness?
Peter O'Toole?
John Mills?

I can think of many Actors who would make a better list.
Those were some I had in mind - even on a Friday...

There's some serious Whoosh Parrot going on today.

We're talking great acting talents like Dolph Lundgren, Kevin Sorbo, Carl Weathers, Vernon Wells and Marc Singer here.

Quite right, I misread the title and cocked-up. I didn't really see any of those 'action' movies of the 80's as I was away at sea.

To be honest I've hardly heard of any of them. I did see half of Batman once and nodded off on a plane.

Kurt Russell. Big Trouble in Little China, Escape From New York, Tango and Cash, the one about boats...

Other mentions, Treat Williams, Danny Trejo, Don Johnson, Harry Hamlin, and the clean shaven bloke from Predator who worked on the bins in Commando...

The best actors in the world, are undercover police officers, because their lives depend on it.

It has to be Dolph Lundgren.

He is also the best scientist out of all the actors in the 80s...

All pale before the pathos and nuance of a Jessie 'The Body' Ventura performance.

Nobody on that list would make my top 100 - let alone "the best".

I didn't spot a single stage actor at all.

They are actors too you know.

He received a degree in chemistry from Washington State University in 1976, a degree in chemical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in the early 1980s, then a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Sydney in Sydney in 1982. Lundgren holds a rank of 3rd dan black belt in Kyokushin Karate and was European champion in 1980 and 1981.

It's amazing how someone so smart, can act so dumb. biggrin
