B***er. I recorded it , and now I'm wondering whether it's worth watching!
I'd really like to see a film made about Tommy Flowers, the great unsung hero of British Intelligence operations. It's a terrific story, even Hollywood would wonder whether it could be true. Sadly, he was such an ordinary man in many ways, and not "different" enough to interest the ADD audiences of tdoay - not doubt they'd cast Brad Pitt or someone similarly unsuitable.

Flowers was the subject of a TV documentary some while back. The idea of him being a lone wolf and building Colossus in his spare time is over-egging it a bit. There was a wry moment at the end when it mentioned that he had, in his late 80s, taken a course in computing at his local college and got a certificate for his efforts.I'd really like to see a film made about Tommy Flowers, the great unsung hero of British Intelligence operations. Total bks. OK as a reasonably entertaining film, but historically tosh.
Recently visited Bletchley Park and watched one the machines featured in action, fascinating.
A visit there is highly recommended......near Milton Keynes.
According to the signage and information boards, whist Turing's work is acknowledged (of course),he certainly wasn't the main boffin there....
