It'd a cracking screen they've got though.

I wonder which Currys they nicked it from.
The screen has been about the only thing my hubby noticed through the ceremony and complimented hehe (that and the dogs being paraded around!)

I seem to remember my old history teacher going on about how great the commonwealth was and how proud it made you to feel British.

Great we own about 50 countries the size of Arran

yes

But but but, we are quite embarrassing, have you never been abroad and seen some Scots? Embarrassing.

One thing we certainly are not is boring, unfriendly or self-concious.

I love it.

Edit- i wondered when Nicole Scherzinger of Garthamlock and Ronaldo biglaugh would be on

no we all thought it was going to be st.

a chap at work (quite into his running or at least he wears running shoes) bought two tickets for the mens final 100 m's day, the best event really. He now cant go, for two weeks he has sent emails around the office (about 50 bodies) trying to sell them, not one bit of interest.

we couldn't give a fk, the world cup was just on

I worked at most if not all the venues at the start, millions has been flung at it, its not in the scale of a world cup or an Olympics. No where near

I only popped in at the end of that - was it 'Music for a found harmonium' by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra?
