What a lovely young lady Martha is, her parents must be very proud of her.

If Richard doesn't win this, it's a fix.
Agree. But Luis could pull something out of the bag at the last minute, or Richard have a flop week in the final.

I just started watching his program at the start of this series and really enjoy it, with one exception. Well, two. To my mind, Mel and sue bring absolutely nothing to the show at all. I really don't see what they add that the old dear and the husky couldn't do.

My view exactly, surely Paul and Mary can manage telling them what each challenge is?!

I'm hoping it's a Luis/Richard/Chetna final now. Nancy has been consistently average for me, and if Martha hadn't had such a nightmare weekend, she would have been out from that microwave business.

Would be a staid and boring show without the colour brought by those two ladies.

Really?

I don't find them funny in the slightest.

i don't mind them - for the 5 minutes of the hour show that they're actually talking, i can take it.
so maybe they aren't hilarious, but they're not offensively unfunny.

I don't understand why people don't like Mel and Sue, I really enjoy their bits and really help to keep the show light and relaxed.

Its odd, in nearly any other environment I cannot stand either of them, I mean really dislike.

In this I don't mind them at all and as someone posted about the Marsala/Oil mix up was very funny.

I find them really annoying, completely lacking in charisma compared to Paul and Mary!

Agreed! I think they add a little bit of humour to the show. Disappointed that the lovely Martha went out last night, was really hoping she'd win.

I like them and certainly add humor and light hearted side to the show. Yes most of the gags are rubbish, and any normal show it would be rubbish but I think it works on this.

It would be odd to have Paul and Mary being the judges at the end to decide who wins and who goes, while then having light hearted jokes with the bakers??
