Keep at it, it gets better and things start falling into place as the real story gets going. What you've seen up to now is just setting the scene.

Stick with it. It's one of the best shows ever made.

I preferred it too although it's probably subjective.

I’m the other way. Much preferred BB. I’ve watched that through 3 times now and happily would again if my list was empty. You would have to pay me to watch BCS again.

I think you certainly need to watch BCS before BB but the sound & cinematography is equally good. BCS has a slightly wiered ending though.

Surely you mean BB before BCS.

I'm with you on this.

Just in case...

The flash-forward bits, Jeff in seasons 4&5 and the last four episodes of Season 6 in BCS won't make any sense if you haven't seen BB. On the other hand, you know which characters are going to survive

I'm a few episodes into series 2 now and to be honest I don't get the adulation this show got, I'm on the verge of giving up, it's really not that good when compared to something like Bosch for example

Funny I’ve watched bb and bcs twice right through and gave up half way through season 2 of Bosch!

I'm just rewatching BCS after another run through of BB. It's a very close call but I think Saul just takes it.

It's always interesting to see how people have different tastes.

With BB, I first gave up within 30 mins. 6 months later, I saw some of the Mike clips from BCS and that got me back to BB.

BB, BCS, Bosch, I like em all.

Bosch Legacy. Not so much but I'm hooked now.

I'm done with BB now,the Jesse character is such a clown..... well to be accurate the writing of his character.....it turns into a comedy show when he's in shot.
It's as though it's trying to be 2 things,a hard hitting drama AND a comedy.Just not working for me.

Slow horses is back on this week, that should be worth watching

Maybe it's just not for you in which case, don't force yourself to watch something because someone on the internet told you it was good. On another thread, loads of people were singing the praises for Severance and how it was like the second coming. I thought it was dire and full of holes.

It would be an extremely dull world if everyone liked the same things.

Not sure if you're trolling or not...

Bosch is good, entertaining TV but it's completely throw-away. No character development and I know as much about Bosch and his daughter now (end of Legacy season 2) as I did after season 1 of the main show. Don't get me started on the cringey jazz thread that's shoe-horned into most episodes.

BB and BCS are a totally different product to things like Bosch. I couldn't ever imagine watching a show like Bosch for a second time but BB and BCS I'd put in the same category as Sopranos, The Wire etc as shows that probably benefit from a second watch.

I'd watch Bosch again, and i loved the soundtrack. As for BB, the fella Jesse spoils the whole thing for me, dreadful writing, it's as if the person who wrote him was never in contact with the rest of the team. Great premise for a show but not even on my radar as a 'best TV show'. I would watch it again, I did enjoy it but never binged it nor felt the need to. Saul was a different class on every level for me. There are however, no 'right' answers. Each to their own.
