Better Call Saul - Prequel to Breaking Bad
Discussion
Just jumped on netflix with excitement to watch it only to find Australian netflix doesn't have it. What is the point of these streaming services if they all lock in so much exclusive content. Video hire stores all have the same movies to rent. Bahh. To the illegal downloads I go. Will we ever see a day where you can watch what we want, when we want and how we want legally and easily?
Rant over.

Netflix is aiming for global content, but they're being thwarted by programme makers - it's a minefield - Better Call Saul is made by Sony and Distributed AMC in the US, not Netflix (I think) and has been bought by various networks globally - Sony can't sell it to X TV Channel in Oz if Netflix is global so Netflix would have to either buy the global rights to it for a fortune or make it themselves.Rant over.
There is, however an answer - well a few, but Netflix does allow subscriptions to be accessed globally, so if you're in the UK you get the UK version of Netflix even if your account is registered in Oz, whilst it's good it's not worth a 24-hour flight every week - but you could use something like a Hola plugin in Firefox to change your location - just log into your Netflix account, set Hola as UK and you'll be able to stream it just fine.
It's a funny old show. I find myself delighted by the beautiful cinematography and the bright blue Alburquerque skies and really appreciate the thought that goes into it, but, just as with the first series I wish more stuff would happen in each episode. It just seems to spend SO much time on relatively inconsequential stuff like hoodwinking the finance douchebag.
