Trying to get episode 2 on USA Netflix using unblock.us
Can't seem to find it on USA version at all.

Is it def on USA or should I check other regions?
They are behind us (in timezones). It hasn't aired yet.
I am guessing that it will come to the UK about 7am Wednesday
I don't think so. Today is Monday, the second episode will air tonight in the US and be on UK Netflix tomorrow from 7am.
Quite right. I was a day ahead in my head.

I enjoyed the first episode but then I loved BB from the opening shot. They captured the tedium and anguish of his character with the silent court room scene near the start just perfectly. I can't wait for the story to build.

Heads up as I wasted time looking.

Watched Ep.1 on the train this morning. Slow, but building great anticipation, especially the bit at the very end (and annoying spoiler for the next episode...)

Ep.2 on the train tonight...!

Perhaps it's just me but I found Breaking Bad unwatchable and Better Call Saul was incredibly slow.... Very poor imo.

I will be watching the episode this evening, but I feel the creators are just cashing on their success with Breaking Bad...

But, it is no secret that Breaking Bad was hugely popular - I just couldn't see why.
If that's the case then BCS might not be for you. I have to say that the first few episodes of BB were slow.

But that was the point. These people have mundane lives, and that is shown with the pace of the filming. You are meant to accept that their lives are indeed slow. It's only by that do you appreciate when things become out of the ordinarily 'fast' for someone with a mundane life that that is appreciated.

I think BCS is aimed solely at people who watched BB to the end. They don't mind slow.

There's no shame is saying you don't like something for a particular reason though - each to his own!

Episode two was much more like it in my opinion, this could be fun.

SLow start in the first episode, and Im looking forward to the 2nd this evening after the cinema. The OH hasn't seen BB, I've watched all 5 seasons twice, so Im lending her my Netflix logon, she has some catching up to do!

yes

Hence why not for everyone and is demonstrated by the viewing figures.

On Sunday the Walking Dead season premiere which was before BCS got 51.6 total million viewers (10.129 million among adults 18-49), BCS following it with a drop to 6.9 million total viewers and 4.4 million among the key 18-49 demographic at 10 PM.

Much easier for the masses to watch good looking actors fighting zombies in-between romances and regular deaths and near deaths, than a middle aged balding lawyer.

+1

One could level a charge at the first episode of BCS that it was almost pretentious in its pacing, but knowing the quality of Breaking Bad it's much easier to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Anyone who hasn't seen Breaking Bad (heretics!), or didn't like it, I suspect will find Better Call Saul too plodding.

The first 10 minutes are the poorest, most self indulgent toss I have seen for some time.

Hope it gets better and doesn't just rely on the Breaking Bad effect.

For god's sake, stop sitting on the fence man! wink

I must admit I only lasted a few episodes of BB before I gave up, I keep meaning to give it another go because it must be good if so many people rate it so highly?

I'm familiar with the premise of BCS and feel this may appeal to me slightly more, may have to give both a try.

Thought that was better than the last episode! Hoping it continues on the same way.

Found that I'm wanting to see the next episode already, wasn't quite the same effect when I was watching S1 of Breaking Bad - that took a bit longer to get me actually wanting to watch more.

Watched both episodes in one sitting tonight. Saul Goodman was one of my favourite characters in Breaking Bad. Enjoying the spin off so far, looking forward to next weeks episode.

Thankfully it has got past the dreadful start. The desert scene in ep 2 is very good. Story is starting to develop.
