No, not just you. She looks like a proper girl, lumps. humps and bumps in all the right places. She has a certain esprit d'elegance that is only slightly diminished by being a Scouser.

I quite like how she looked in Casualty too...

So there's something that confuses me about Strictly.

They have the Saturday show, then the voting, then the results show. The contestants are all dressed exactly the same on Sunday as Saturday.

So... is it all recorded on the same day or do they go to all the hassle of dressing the contestants the same way again the next day?

So, who is in the dance off?

Has to be Judy "totally wooden" Murray.

If they are in the dance off, they will need to be dressed to dance

That is a shock. I can only guess people didn't vote for him as they thought he would be safe?

According to a friend in the know...

"It's recorded straight after the Saturday show as soon as live voting closes about 9, I think. There has been who-hars about it before when evictees have been leaked or contestants are live on another channel at the same time".

That makes sense. I wasn't sure when the voting ended. It would make total sense to have a long intermission and then close the voting and record the Results Show.

I had to look round when I heard the thump. It was his chin hitting the floor.

Donny Osmond has made some good comments from a contestant's pov. Totally random marks from him yesterday, though.

Whoever is up against him is toast. The Judges will see him through. And rightly so.

I agree. I valued his comments although I know many people dislike him. I think his scoring was very different from the other judges - it was a layman's / entertainer's vote rather than a technical merit vote. I think it gave an extra dimension to the judging. Whilst I wouldn't way him on every week, I think he added something this weekend.

I've never liked Donnie Osmond since he stole Debbie Whitteker's heart in 1973 and left no room for me cry

Kinda surprised and kinda not surprised that Scott got through. He's very popular on Radio 1.

Jennifer or Judy... could have been either.

Edit: She's toast. Simon is the better dancer and the judges know it.

Shame really, Jennifer danced a lot better this week, and Alison, Scott and Judy were dreadful, but public vote = chimpanzee tea party / popularity contest. Simon is safe I think.
Simon *has* to be safe.

Thankfully it's not like X-Factor where the judges are partisan / have vested interests.

The judges will unanimously vote Simon through and rightly so. He does not deserve to be in the dance-off.

Even Donny couldn't get that wrong hehe

Hope they don't invite him back, get back over the pond you muppet.
As I said earlier, I thought he brought an interesting layman's / ex-contestant's view to things. The judges can get very bogged down in technical excellence. Donny was judging from a different angle and I quite liked that.

For the avoidance of doubt, I mean that I liked him as a one-off; I wouldn't want him every week.
