I want to see Scott Mills go far. Mainly cos I like him and he makes me laugh. Also, he looks like he's got himself a good partner - she's very cute.

Did you see hime dance on that opening dance thingy? He's not going to be there long, made me laugh at how bad he was though so it's not a total loss.

Lookingb forward to it now. The lineup isnt as bad as i thought it might be, some good characters in there and Pixie, Flack and Frankie should all be nice to watch.

I started dancing with my girlfriend in Feb so will hopefully be watching with a bit more understanding and be even more impressed by how difficult the routines are!

I think he thought he was bigger than the show & he's been booted, He doesn't come across as a very nice chap.

All in all a good show & a great send off for Brucie & i think Claudia will add some real fun to the show.

Has a passing mod merged the threads? I'm sure the last page of posts was on a different thread last night.

LOL. Yes, he was a little gawky wasn't he. Still, early days yet - maybe he'll get better.

Interesting... Some disparaging comments on here about Tim Wonnacott seem to have disappeared. Friends in high places?

Yes, a good mod has put it all back in one now.

Think Antony Beck might have finally been given a decent partner in Judy Murray, who is likely to be uber-competitive.

It really feels like they are scraping the bottom of the barrel this year. They are all either daytime telly actors (I had to look them up), z-list 'celebs', or current pop stars (like I would know who is Top-of the Pops at the moment! hehe).

I really like Claude and Tess as a double act presenting; Bruce was getting too doddery for the gig and it was time for him to stop. Shame the line up will mean they won't get the viewings over the crap on the other side and it will be a first and last season for them. frown

Would be nice to see Claudia in something other than a shapeless black sack of a dress.

She has grown on me - although she still looks like an unmade bed.

I didn't like her at all initially but happy to say I was wrong. she outwits wooden daly every time, she just lacks the glamour.

as for the show, pretty good start and no real surprises in the pairings I wasn't looking forward to the series due to the selections but it might prove to be good.

an annoying three weeks to wait before ep01 though...grrrrr.

Looks like an interesting mix of celebrities. I like the Naturalist bloke but don't think he'll do that well. The Model/ex Rugby player I think will do best of the male celebrities. Of the females, probably Pixie Lott will go a long way and Frankie Bridge will be thereabouts at the end. I do like the new professional dancer Joanne even if she is from Grimsby!
