Just watching it now - I am still liking Sunetra. **does this smell like chloroform?**

I am really loving Dave Archer's band though. Utterly brilliant.

Best thing is to watch how it should be done by the pros:
Doesn't look much like that on strictly, but you might recognise some moves!
No it's bleedin' not.

Watching some fking Germans in a 5-a-side stadium in China is not what latin dance is about.

I've spent most of my life in the Caribbean and Latin America and not one of those moves has ever been more mangled than by those Tuentonic footwear and feather munchers.

Indeed. Having learnt ballroom dancing in my teens to medal stages maybe I look too closely at the footwork and think hmm that is not much like a foxtrot etc..

I wonder how it would work if they did groups of e.g all sports personalities, actors/ actresses etc.as the celebrities.and bring in some formation dancing too.

I think everyone had improved this week even Scott and Judy, and whilst Scott & Judy deserve to be at the bottom there was a degree of slight improvement.

Yup! This is only my 2nd year of watching Strictly.

Although I'm old enough to remember the original Come Dancing (it only finished in 1998 according to Wikipedia), it's not something I ever watched.

I can't recollect a dance off against the clock, but I can remember Frank and Peggy Spencer were one of the teams.
Anyway will it be Judy and Simon in the dance off tonight ?

In previous years of Strictly they have had a dance off round where the judges watched the couples for 3 or 4 minutes and gradually pulled them off leaving just one couple of the floor at the end.

Come Dancing was a regional competition throughout the UK and think it would have been amateur couples and not celebrities with a professional partner so quite different to SCD.

It's been like this ever since the John Sargent episode.

What is the point of the judges if their opinion counts for nothing?
