Dress Alert:

No really, Sunetra's dress worked, Caroline's didn't.

Or what the f**k do I know?

I agree. Sunetra's dress was gorgeous.

Claudia is such a pro. She was only just holding the emotion in there. I thought she might burst into tears.

The whole show made me smile.

Isn't that what we want from Saturday night telly?

The bits I saw excellent except Steve, he managed to make Ola look awkward which takes some doing. Mind according to the tabloids he isn't enjoying the training regime so it's likely his time to go. The judges need to find some marking space, most folks having 9's and 10's really isn't giving everyone fair representation.

Indeed. I like Steve a lot, very affable chap and he's done ok but I really can't see him surviving this week.

Simon was very good again, Mark and Max both good too. Didn't like Pixies much, and her dress wasn't flattering. Caroline I did like, a lot, and her dress was rather nice imo.

Once Steve and then Sunetra are out it's going to be a very close race.

I think Sunetra and Caroline are both in danger this week. But maybe you guys are right and Steve could be too.

Think it will be Steve and Sunetra in the Dance Off with Sunetra probably winning as she's doing a dance that suits her more.

Sunetra was much better this week. I suppose Steves past injuries were against him in the jive.

The dresses this year have been really nice. Sunetras last night really suited her, Pixies seemed too short for a charleston.
I love to watch ITT in the week night when they discuss the style and materials for the dresses. There is so much work involved in quite a short time.

Bloody right, so much more pleasant than the X factor-especially this bit;

Sunetra's really suited her, as did the dance she did. I think those two factors might carry her through to next week, but I predict she'll do that via a dance-off.

I must confess I haven't really been watching ITT but it sounds like I might be missing out a little. frown

Just as a little aside, this just popped up on my Facebook newsfeed via George Takei

100 years of dancing in 100 seconds

I actually recognised many of the different styles due to having watched Strictly. smile

You've been missing out quite a bit actually. The interviews with the couples are longer than on the main show, plus various experts discuss training room footage of the couples preparing their next dances as well as discussing the dances they've just done.

It's all very light hearted and Zoe Ball is really rather good as the host, plus at times they've had people involved in the show's production from choregraphers to dancers not in it this year to the dress makers doing bits and bobs. Definitely worth a series link.

She is indeed. Worryingly good from Claudia's perspective.

Much that I love Claudia's dry humour, she was a bit of an anti-climax after Zoe's superb presenting in the main show.

'Dancing cheek to cheek' the history of dance was quite interesting too with Len Goodman. BBC 4 last Thursday.

Can someone please explain why it is that Tess ALWAYS seems to miss her cue and runs on, mid sentence, after each dance - is she surprised when the dance finishes or something?

Thanks. I think I have actually series linked it, now I come to think of it. Maybe I will sit down and watch some of them.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll look out for that on iPlayer.
