I had no intention of posting the results on here.
Oh, I know. Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you might.
No worries :-) I hate people posting spoilers where they are not wanted.

The better couple lost, she shouldn't have been in the dance off as her first routine was better than 35 points. Anyway it clears the path for Jake to win all out.

Well done Len. Two judges voted on what could happen next week. Two voted on what they ACTUALLY saw. Thank goodness, Len was one of the latter.
Disagree. You want to know why Len voted for Pixie, look at Lens face when Trent argued with him about the lifts

Len is a vindictive old man

People have suggested that she lost because she isn't doing the tour.

Well done Simon. Caroline could be the stronger challenge with Jake now.

Absolutely right, it's easy to forget the purpose of the dance off and that's to decide who goes out on the night. On the night Simon's was the better dance.

Equally he's Head Judge and dead easy to please.

Correct decision made, imo. Pixie's moves were far too balletic, showy, and lost touch with the spirit of the dance.

I don't disagree that Len is a vindictive and unpleasant man in real life. I've long suspected that Craig is lovely but picky. And Len is a bit of a st.
I know who I'd prefer to spend an evening with.

However, based on this weekend's dancing, I think Simon deserved to go through.

Gutted! She has been by far the most consistent performer throughout, but have to say Simon nailed it in the dance-off. How good have they all been though!

But she did have an advantage over the others from week 1.

Tonight was a triumph of 'dance competition' over 'stage-managed entertainment show'

I was happy to see Simon go through. IMO his dance was the better of the two this week.

The Saturday/Sunday fakery is stretching credulity more than a little.

I disagree too. Although we know Pixie has had years of dance training and perhaps shouldn't have been in the line-up from the outset, she was by far the better dancer in the dance off.
Len didn't vote on what he just saw at all. He had it in for Trent after what happened earlier.

I disagree. For dancing the dance style that they were meant to be dancing, Simon danced it better. He's not the better dancer but he executed his given dance better. That's surely what they were being judged on?

From an asthectic perspective it is a shame that pixie has gone imo.

WHAT???!!! Can't believe it. Fix!
Oh come on. I realise you're upset but the public voted her into the dance off. And once there she was being judged on how well she did her dance. Simon did his dance well because it suited him.

Pixie's been on a different level throughout the whole series, surely you should judge them on that not just one dance; because on the night it depends who has the more difficult routine, the best dress etc.
Wrong! You can't judge on anything other than what they do, and Simon did better with the dance he had this week. He even fixed the arms that Darcey picked up on first time round. Simon deserved to go through.

Agree - Simon nailed that dance.
