Anyone else enjoying this show, been watching a few episodes and find it quite entertaining if you don't take it too seriously.
But it also has Rhona Mitra in it which makes it much better to watch smile.

Yeah I've been watching this, and although its a little cheesy at times its entertaining. I see the English scientist fella is also in the new UK movie Starred Up as well.

OK, Just watched episode 1 on Sky.

That will be the last episode I watch. Total and utter garbage on almost every level.

Avoid.

I watched it all. But only because I can watch TV while I'm working. If I had been using my own free time to watch it I'd have binned it after 1 episode also. Its brain dead unrealistic TV, but not in a fun or interesting way like say 24.

It does get better in later episodes, the best ones so far are when the Russians get involved.

It gets better in a "less worse" sort of way. Being generous, I would say that it is vaguely entertaining at times, but ultimately you can watch the first and last episodes and not miss any important story elements.

Overall it is tedious, slow and predictable. Second series will definitely be worse, it will then just be regular post apolcalyptic rubbish.

It's okay in most parts, the sort of TV you can watch while checking your emails if you know what I mean.

Just 10 eps in the first season then? That's a shame as the last one was the best of the lot and I was actually looking forward to the next one to see what happened.

I guess it's got nowhere to go ultimately though and it's just a question of how many more bizarre scenarios they can come up with.

It was a Summer season program, designed to fill the schedules between the bigger shows ending and their new seasons starting.

I thought Michael Bay was doing his own send up/parody of his past work!

I think the name of it has kind of limited them as to how far it can go. Apparently been confirmed that there will be a 2nd series next year.

It is already fundamentally different to the book (which was nuclear war, not a disease), I expect the second season to just be any old post apocalyptic nonsense. Trying to find their last ship for a starter.

I watched the whole series. Can see it going the way of prison break.

The TV equivalent of a McDonalds, a brief moment of trashy pleasure, but afterwards felt a bit sick, guilty and unfulfilled.

How does the script writer keep a straight face / his self-respect?

If they do more of shooting stuff down with guns, I'm all for it.

The rest of it, meh.

It's not bad in a switch off your brain and put your feet up kind of way, but the book is so much better.
