Anyone else enjoying this show, been watching a few episodes and find it quite entertaining if you don't take it too seriously.
But it also has Rhona Mitra in it which makes it much better to watch .

OK, Just watched episode 1 on Sky.
That will be the last episode I watch. Total and utter garbage on almost every level.
Avoid.
I watched it all. But only because I can watch TV while I'm working. If I had been using my own free time to watch it I'd have binned it after 1 episode also. Its brain dead unrealistic TV, but not in a fun or interesting way like say 24.That will be the last episode I watch. Total and utter garbage on almost every level.
Avoid.

It does get better in later episodes, the best ones so far are when the Russians get involved.
It gets better in a "less worse" sort of way. Being generous, I would say that it is vaguely entertaining at times, but ultimately you can watch the first and last episodes and not miss any important story elements.Overall it is tedious, slow and predictable. Second series will definitely be worse, it will then just be regular post apolcalyptic rubbish.
Just 10 eps in the first season then? That's a shame as the last one was the best of the lot and I was actually looking forward to the next one to see what happened.
I guess it's got nowhere to go ultimately though and it's just a question of how many more bizarre scenarios they can come up with.

It was a Summer season program, designed to fill the schedules between the bigger shows ending and their new seasons starting.I guess it's got nowhere to go ultimately though and it's just a question of how many more bizarre scenarios they can come up with.

I think the name of it has kind of limited them as to how far it can go. Apparently been confirmed that there will be a 2nd series next year.
It is already fundamentally different to the book (which was nuclear war, not a disease), I expect the second season to just be any old post apocalyptic nonsense. Trying to find their last ship for a starter.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
