I think we should all cross our fingers for this stage of the build.

I'm not watching the show yet, but I've always struggled to feel any sympathy for these when it's an architect (about 50% of them I reckon), because they tend to be show off vanity projects to demonstrate just how clever the architect is. Watching the pain and then the massive budget overruns is always amusing. smile

As with lawyers, a man who is his own architect has a fool for his client.

For such a small building it's mighty complicated.

I was just thinking the same. No H&S what so ever. Scary.

What are the laws in terms of "working at height" when you are doing it yourself with your friends? Persumably, if you are paying them in any way you are also responsible for their safety??

(lots of skating around on wet wooden structures, in the dark, at steep angles, and over 5m off the ground in this build........)

Anyone else noticed he wears his pants over his trousers like Superman. It could be a mistake or a new fashion? Might try that at work tomorrow. biggrin

My comment was for when the crane lifted one of the first pieces and it came crashing down thanks to a bolt breaking. smile
