What did he just say they'll convert to a mortgage at the end? Wasn't listening.

Just repeated it's a bank loan.

Not really in my mind. I see hippy as not wanting to work/live in the mainstream. Nothing to do with wealth.

Massive overspend! Double their original budget but worry not as in London it will be worth many many millions. In Yorkshire you could keep cows in it.

It's a common theme - estimated budget ends up being 60% or less of actual.

Architects and naive clients do not make for realistic budgets.
