So the builders can have a shower and not travel 50 mile every day to go home I presume they are expected to stay on site and reduce the carbon footprint.

It sounds bks to me.

But if they knew it, and it was just a tick box exercise, how much to rent a temp shower block from portakabin or someone..

Canvas wind break and a piece of string attached to the handle of a watering can. They don't have to use it.

Great build really liked that I think the price was a little misleading a lot of favours called in, some free wood, I doubt the architect took much money, cheap land etc...
