Don't forget that Charlie could ride to the rescue from Scotland by revealing that Rob was to blame for the flood....
I missed those episodes - what did he do?

IIRC he blocked up a storm drain/culvert(with a dead dog?) preventing the flood plan(BL or mega dairy land) from flooding making the flooding worse in the village.

On a tangent though - What happened to Annabelle (Justin's wife)?
Justin's wife is Miranda, not Annabelle. The latter was another exec on the BL board I think. Miranda is still around, but Justin seems to get away with prolonged absences...

Miranda turned up unexpectedly over Christmas, came to watch the village panto, and may have sussed that Lillian and Justin have a thing going....

Nice that Rob has been getting some stick. I assume they wrote rapist across his windscreen? I'm wondering if he is going to take some sort of revenge for these recent events?

Ah, thanks - I meant Miranda. I think she has sussed it - Has she said anything in any episode yet or is she a "Maris"? smile

Personally i am just waiting for Susan to get her comeuppance.

How the hell she has avoided being battered to death by almost every other person in the village i will never know.

Would love to take her and Rob on a sightseeing tour of a piggery...
Susan is a very useful character for the scriptwriters - she can bring us all up to date via gossip in the shop, and be the butt of jokes by 'accepting' less attractive positions (like being vocally in favour of Rob, or Brexit etc).

And she's done time after helping her jailbird brother when he was on the run.

Soppy old Neil seems to be immune to her worse side, but her children have her sussed.

As I'm often reminded by family members - it's only a fictional soap, so let it go...

Can't be. I was on the same quiz team as Eddie Grundy once. We lost.

Susan really went up in my estimations last night.

I can't help but feel there is something building in relation to Rob and all the stick he has been getting lately? I wouldn't be surprised if he did something soon?

This was my sense too. I thought it was all going to blow up over Christmas but other than trolling us with that brief Henwee disappearance it never happened.

I wish Henry would disappear!
Knowing his voice is produced by an adult really gives me the creeps.

It's an awful impersonation. I'd be worried if my child spoke like that at his age!

I thought all the kids were pre-recorded, but were actual children?

I read an interview with one of the producers who said Henry is played by an adult, and the voice put through a synthesiser. I can't find the link at the moment

Re tonight's episode, Tom is a moron. He dumped Kirstie TWICE (the second time at the altar) and he just expects her to be like "yep, let's get hitched!"

Idiot.

Absolutely!

He does come from the branch of the family that got blessed with the more modest brain cell count - but even for that he seems to be reaching out for record-breaking dumbness!

Click below to visit the Archers BBC web page where you can here the best episode eva!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thearchers/entries/3446...

- for those not long of this parish, it's a one off special penned by Julie Waters and with original cast members (including I think at least three dead characters!).

Enjoy!
