We are approaching a denouement of the Rob/Stefan issue on Friday, by the looks of things. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Fight or flight I'm guessing? Robs type aren't good with confrontation but if he really can't lay his hands on the cash he may be forced to do something rash?

Didn't see that coming. I imagine Rob will be looking for someone to vent his anger on now? Don't quite see how he's going to pay off Stefan now, although he may feel he doesn't need to? Assuming he doesn't take revenge against him somehow?

Hmmm, it will be interesting to see if the truth ever comes out or whether Justin's cover story holds. Didn't someone die in the floods? If so, presumably Justin and his squeeze could be in trouble for not going to plod?

I don't believe Rob will go quietly.

I think that Justin's story is too full of holes. Its obvious that Rob will not just leave the village for a job in the states unless he takes baby Gideon with him.......

Bad smells tend to hand around and Rob is currently the Archer's least fragrant character

I suspect that we might be about to see the downfall of Justin and Demara over the next 12 months.

There are only two ways to finally deal with blackmailers - kill them or publish their 'leverage' yourself and deal with the fall out on your own terms. There are no other options that will lead to the end of the story.

I don't think that Justin has the balls or the connections to make Stefan disappear and now what he has done is handed the power back to Rob. Many are all happy that Rob is off the scene, I doubt it very much.

I think that someone with Robs moral character is just the sort to have a hard few months trying to restart their life and plan before they go back to Justin with the 'don't see anything in the papers about the order you gave me to block that drain to save your farm, almost as if you have something to hide Justin..." Don't let the reality of Rob acting on his own account fool you, he is quite capable of inventing un provable conversations to try to bring Justin in, and even then he knows that the damage it will do to Demara will be worth something.

I doubt that we have heard the last from Rob, although i have been told that one of the main aims this first half of the year is to tie up all the many lose ends that the writers have left over the last few years before the new story lines start to take hold.

As an aside, i was expecting Freddie to get could shock or similar on Thursday night resulting in trips to A&E etc....

It's a pity Fag-Ash-Lill can't call upon the services of "Tiger" any more..........

Tracy Horrobin [sp?] seems to be becoming a regular character. I hope this doesn't last.

Any bets on it blossoming, Rex landing some kind of business deal as at the same time Toby trips up and is found out to have done something monstrously caddish behind Pip's back?

My guess is that Kenton turns out to be Rex and Toby's uncle due to an illicit affair /rape with the Fairbrother's father, which explains why she hates them so much.

Something is definitely brewing there with this storyline if you forgive the pun.

Yep, especially with him being welcomed into the bosom of the family last night.
