Regrettably she is now unable to act for medical reasons.Somehow they'll need to write Peggy out now as June Spencer is over 100 and has retired, and one wonders how long Jill will be around as Patricia Greene is in her nineties now.
Judy Bennett, the actress who played Schula for decades has retired and Schula has moved to Sunderland on missionary work. In real life she is married to Charles Collingwood (Brine) so whether he'll shortly have a fatal heart attack in order to retire wouldn't be a total surprise.

Their son (Jennifer's "new brother" was decorating the spare room in anticipation of her arrival. They sent money for a train ticket, and said her 'brother' would meet her at the station.
Peggy Archer also got letters, one of which asked her "How can you not know your own daughter is pregnant? Don't you listen to the programme?"
