I think Alex tried her best with the pet shop, but I fear the future does not promising....

One day they only took around £220.00, and they have to contend with very high main street (London) rent and rates...

Also Alex said the trade was 25% up the day they had the special sales push, but they were giving 25% off everything.......

The store definitely did look more organised after the refit, I think their only hope is try to build on the grooming business, but even there, they had another wage to pay the new guy.

Actually what she said was their takings were up 25% on their daily target. I know cus I've just watched it this very minute.

It doesn't take 4 people to run a small pet shop. The £30,000 a year it was losing could have been cancelled out by getting rid of the 2 paid sales assistants no doubt.
The fact the owner had a marketing degree but hadn't got a clue how to run a shop says it all about this countries education system

Add in the groomer circa £18k ? it would make sense to make the camp boyfriend train to be a doggy polisher

I don't know if that term has an alternative meaning that I'm unaware of, but if is doesn't, it bloody well should!

So a French degree is only 2 years, so it's what we know call a Foundation Degree (but when I did my degree, 2 years of study was a HND).
