In fact, the show itself is just completely bizarre.
I think that's the whole point of it.

I know the target audience for the show is probably upper middle class boffins and crossword connoisseurs

However I would say that the punchlines of some of the jokes are in a different league altogether and i'd say i'm a middle class, well qualified uni educated man.

I believe Tatler magazine got into bother by calling Victoria Coren 'Blockstocking tits'

Here she is with husband David Mitchell looking joined at the hip and utterly inseparable.

Recently stumbled across this. The format is good, particularly the wall thing at the end.

However, VC has plummeted from "thinking man's crumpet" to "oh dear she's really a bit dull and embarrassing isn't she". (Similar to Victoria Pendleton on SCD).

I doubt she'd ever have got or kept the job if she wasn't the daughter of Beeb royalty.

Still put the program on Series Link though to skim through.

You think she needs the show? You do know what she does for a "day" job, and how much she rakes in from it?

I think I tend to agree.

She used to seem sharp and clever, but (and maybe it's poor editing) on this she's clearly just reading the script and on recent outings on HIGNFY she's been seen but not heard!

That's the least convincing bit of photoshopping ive seen. Even if its a real photo, I don't believe a snapshot in time suggests what you think it does. Perhaps he is about to put a ticket on his car !

Maybe there's somebody with a camera in the middle of the pavement and they're walking either side of him.

OK after my first post this has now become standard Monday night fare for us. An hour of intellectual quizzes; UC then OC.

Last nights was a high scoring match but some of the questions seemed a bit easier than previous weeks. We particularly enjoyed how VC's dress was losing the battle and the leftie was making a bid for freedom!

That really is terrible photoshopping, the landscape isn't even level yet they are upright!

I wonder if the next shot has her tripping over that big concrete plant pot?
