Those two cretins are just like the idiots who move next to a race track and complain about noisy racing cars. Why did they move there in the first place? It's the M6 for crying out loud!

Must be noisy if he can hear it through the triple glazing. Except he's opened the window so you can just about hear something.

What a pair of scammers. 119dB - yeah right.

As opposed to amateur lorry drivers?

Since the police were nearby to block the road before the cone laying, and the same problem occurs every time, would it not be sensible for them to just pop up to the junction and shoot some fish in a barrel.

It turned out that with the work going on it was quieter than when the motorway is running normally laugh

Noise volume is exponential. My motorbike is 105dB. There is no way they are registering 119 dB. That is ear shatteringlu loud.

Exactly. I don't know what he did to get it to 119 but it must have been good.

All those two busy bodies want is compensation from Amey or the Highways Agency. They're actively looking for a problem or reason to complain.

I love how the independant noise monitoring was much, much lower than the alleged 120dB!

Why would a householder's insurer by interested in paying to repair part of a motorway drain system? I'm a local councillor and if it was my constituent I would also be telling them to get their act together and fix it. The idea that a decision to repair it would be subject to cost/benefit analysis in this situation is just ludicrous.

The pair of cock sockets complaining about noise should become the target for every bottle of "Tizer" on the whole GB motorway system .

Was the drain part of the motorway drainage system?

It looked to me that the drain problem was caused by tree roots which could happen anywhere.

.............................

As for the two 'professional' complainers - I really don't understand why they are taken seriously by the company.

After the cctv showed the highway drain clear didn't it say the blockage was a collapse in their garden, so was it their drain or not.
You have to admire the "know it all?" Councillor "I'm going to make sure those engineers are doing it righ, Ok Mr/Mrs layman

The first thing that popped into my mind as well, was that seemed a bit staged. How handy that on the day she has the camera in her car and is complaining about the lack of a hard shoulder, the dangers, etc, and then all of a sudden she breaks down?

I notice that when she first noticed the problem she kept driving and went past the coned area where there were no roadworks, which she could have nipped into safely, and then decided to stop the car next to the metal barrier instead. At which point she starts panicking, then starts panicking the child, makes comments about a mad woman behind her nearly hitting her, but then decides to start driving again, where lo & behold the exit slip road for the junction was.

Generally they are far better than all other drivers (apart from bikers) but the general public want cheap goods delivered yesterday
The general public don't want cheap goods delivered yesterday.
They've been convinced that's what they want.
