The only design carried through are the number of doors and it has 4 wheels. The 2 series looks god awful. And thats before we get inside it. Really bad steering wheel thicknesss and a widescreen TV glued to the dasshboard.

I think the only way to avoid such things is to be buying something bargain basement like a Dacia, but I suspect they'll start using them soon as they'll be cheaper than actual dials and gauges.

Not to everybody's taste of course but IMO is vastly preferable to last week's...

I think (hope?) the huge touchscreens will soon become something associated with the cheaper cars so any 'premium' brands will try and differentiate themselves by adding in buttons. Very much wishful thinking I know!

Exactly.. It's far from perfect and I'm still not sold on the looks (although agree with Harry - much better in black to compliment the wide body while hiding the awkward bumpers)..

But it's still a 600bhp+ manual 2 door RWD coupe... All flaws aside this is the sort of thing that should be appreciated while it still exists..

Any design that needs a specific colour/shade to hide or elevate itself is a crap design imo.

Slightly controversial perhaps, but I think an unmodified manual car would have the greatest potential to become a future classic.

I'd probably order the optional factory bi-colour wheels for an extra £330, though.

It does, they're just all amped up to a ridiculous degree. The most obvious being the rectangular vents on the corners of the bumper.

Wonder what it would have looked like if they'd taken the straight wheel arches ...

I enjoyed the M2 video very much, mainly because Harry was clearly having a whale of a time in it. Has prompted me to look at M2s - as he said the performance for the price point is unrivalled.

Looking at the Litchfield website the map is switchable in the car between 450 and 620 bhp, with the more powerful maps demanding 99RON.

I was thinking about a Cayman GTS 4.0 next, but this video has got me pondering….

I really enjoyed that and thought it is quite a unique looking and driving car that BMW should be applauded for making available.
Anyone can order one too, no special lists etc.
As for the power hike to 640hp, I’m not sure about this, warranty, longevity etc.
For me I think a mildly breathed on M240 would be ideal for everyday all weather use.

Enjoyed that. Nice to see lots of roads I recognise, quite a trek to find a friendly MoT station.

Nice that TVR (wheeler) kinda lives on. Great that Harry is enthusiastic too.
Would like to see it in the flesh. Looked handy off-road too

The TVR Scamander is everything that the Tesla Cyber Truck should have been. Certainly well ahead of its time.

I'm not really in to bikes in general

However, I love the Sandraiders videos - it looks like a proper adventure.

If I had the time, had the money and attained the ability, I'd love to give it a go thumbup

It's good to see the enthusiasm for the 80's trail bikes and to see the bikes still being used for what they were designed to do.

And, as usual, a very entertaining pair of videos from Harry.

Not as many oofs and ouches during the rocky bits in this video as in last year's so I suspect this year's route was actually easier than last year's, as long as you enjoy riding on sand, which is quite good fun once you get into it.
