We are a breeding ground for these scumbags, brainless parents producing brainless kids.

I was chatting with a Danish guy at work and he said they don't even lock their bikes up as no one takes them ... meanwhile here people using portable axe grinder to nick bikes in broad daylight!

Sky Coppers on 4 now.

Coppers with tiny choppers hunt for a man who assaulted an officer.

Good to know the Viz writers have found a home at C4.

Inside the force Channel 5

The boyfriend who stabbed the 15 year old is so dumb I think he has to walk about with a Ipod in his ear saying breath in breath out. A violent little thug who should be locked up and the key should be thrown away.

He's nasty little scrote. Grooming and lying about his age. Stalking. Threats. 100 Facebook profiles plus loads on other social media platforms. He's a very obvious danger to young women. Needs a proper sentence.

Can't believe the work they have to go into to get all the evidence stacked up, months of work they reckoned.
They had him buying knives at a DIY store, they had him specifically getting a bus to his targets address, they had him holding the knife, they had multiple witnesses see him attacking and stabbing the victim yet they were still concerned about whether they could pin the messages he'd been sending to a phone he owned.
Common sense would have all that done and dusted and him sent down for 25 years in 5 mins flat.
That's not a dig at Police work by the way, it just seems mad the amount of effort they have to go to proving stuff these days.

Only question I had on behalf of the victim was did they report those voice messages he'd been sending to the Police ?

Looks like the little scrote that stabbed the 15yr old hasn't been sentenced yet.

A real nasty piece of work, I doubt prison will make him change his ways.

Crikey that was a piss boiler watching that. Complete incompetence from the top brass must be soul destroying for the officers who all clearly felt very strongly about it.

Why did the guy go hunting for a reporter? Clearly not the sharpest tool in the box.

I watched it last night and I completely agree; it’s just incredibly that they focussed on the Turkish suspects given the evidence against Packer. The translation by someone with an O level in Turkish just summed it up.

I think the behavioural experts on the Watcher programme would have had a field day with Packer towards the end of the interview when he was accused of the murder and being violent. There was obviously a lot of well founded local suspicion of him and he thought by seeking out a journalist he could tell his side of the story. What an idiot and a narcissist.

The accused hasn’t (yet) come across as at all likeable. Nor his father. Nor his character witness friend.

Perhaps it’s just the editing, but I rather doubt that.

“£130,000 worth of stolen bikes“… in one place. Bicycle theft is a legitimate career if your from Islington and similar. https://www.itv.com/news/2024-02-26/a-police-sting...

Wouldn’t take a genius to catch them but it gets 0.01% of police interest, same as moped and motorcycle theft.

Both eps are available on More 4. My other half knew the verdict (It was apparently well reported up here), but I didn't, so it was more interesting for me.
