I do wonder whether Deanna gives the order to shoot her husband as he'll turn & not the surgeon.
I wondered the same.
I thought the same
I didn't think so, so just watched that bit again to be sure. Deanna is still holding her husband when she says Do it, and rick turns the other way to shoot
In the book Douglas (Deanna) tells him to kill Pete, not to stop Regina (Reg) from turning.

Are you guest starring in the self titled tit Tuesday?

I'm not sure I could watch it all again from the start. For me TWD is about the anticipation of where the story goes and what happens next so it's not something I'll be revisiting like, say, The Wire.

I'll watch the first 6 for sure, to see how Morgan was, and to see if it's as good as I remember.

Only the first series is worth a revisit.

Is it Series 2 on the farm?

I think the zombie apocalypse might be preferable to watching that again.

Just watch the first and last episodes of series 2.

Yep enjoyed that second half overall - binging on most of it definitely helped.

Finale wise a few plots devices were naff like the gate being left open and no-one noticing but that's about it. Overall it was a very good episode.

Nest season is set up nicely with Morgan, the wolves etc. but I really really really really want some 'bigger picture stuff' to be included (fat chance). Not since the CDC at the end of Season ONE have we seen anything of note that I can recall.

the world's ended, people have killed others just for survival living and dead. But some guy gets drunk and hits his wife giving her a black eye. Kill him, kill him now. Why not ban booze.
I thought this. The whole bit where Carol told Rick about what Pete was doing, and she just instantly came to the conclusion that 'you have to kill him'. Bit much maybe.

I remember something that irked me about the last ep.
Rick go a face/mouth full of gloop! It wasn't blood, but c'mon! I recall thinking...'er, they can't do that cause he should turn'. He got a gob full!

Enjoyed it overall.
Too many wtf moments though. Ok the Alexandrians are stupid but Ricks lot should know better. Why didn't rick shout for help?
I agree that it showed you don't need to blow everything up to have a good season finale. I will be back next series which was looking unlikely mid way through this run.

blood and goop doesn't turn you, in Walking Dead world, just dying

Finally, after 5 long seasons of battling Walkers, one of them has decided to wear a type of armour. I noticed it on Morgan during the camp fire scene.

I thought biting turns you, because the 'live' virus gets into your stream. I am unsure as to the rules in the show. In the book, someone getting 'bit' is basically, it's over for you...unless the 'bit' bit is amputated immediately.

bites are super-infectious, and kill you, unless you can chop off the bit limb quickly

anyone who dies will turn though, see Shane ages ago, the flu victims in the jail, or Red Poncho in the last episode

Yes, everyone has the virus dormant, thus the clever title, the Walking Dead.
But bites make it happen quickly, so I think head goop would have the same effect. biggrin

So how exactly did Glenn fight off multiple walkers while nursing a gunshot wound... and then go on to have a fist fight with the other chap ?

EDIT: I had hoped his time would be up.
