Walking Dead Season 5 - Spoilers will be cannibalised

2 weeks to go before the UK premier of S5 (1 day after the US). Looking forward to it.

Here is a spoiler-free review of S5 E1 however(!) it does drops hints as to things like the quality of the episode etc, so if you want to stay completely spoiler-free, obviously don't read the review.

Recap of Series 4 as I remember it


Rick goes soft and starts cuddling pigs/farming
Beth shows classic signs of PTSD
Flu within the prison, unloved kid with glasses dies, turns to a zombie and gets bitey
Carol gets awesome & sensible
The kids in the group get weird
Lots of zombies outside the prison
The Governor gets a whole episode about him growing a beard and walking about
Governor attacks prison - has a tank, but the tank gets blown up. Because Daryl.
Hershel gets his head cut off
Governor gets made dead
Everyone gets split up
Coral eats some chocolate pudding
Beth gets kidnapped after trying to get Daryl to throw it up her
Carol gets sensible, awesome & shoots a mental kid in the face
Most of them make it to a supposed sanctuary that isnt actually safe


Think that's pretty much everything

Thought it was a great series. You could see the ending coming a mile away, just wanted to see how it would play out.

Now mildly pissed off in that I've just watched S4 at a rate of 2 a week on C5 but they don't have Series 5 and I don't have FOX. So no resolution to what happens next for me.

Thought it was really good as well. The Grove episode I found really harrowing to watch, films/ tv don't normally bother me too much but that episode really got to me.

I wonder if S5 will be on iTunes to download, if you want to do it legitimately. The current series of Sons Of Anarchy on the UK iTunes the day after the US showing.

I think the rule should be quite simple, don't enter the damn thread until you've watched the latest episode. Do not enter the thread on a Sunday/Monday if you're on UK schedule basically.

Also, spoiler tages DO NOT WORK if somebody is browsing on mobile PH. Not that it would matter if you're talking already aired stuff, but comic book stuff and the occasional leak (like Carol's zombie daughter from Season 2) will not be hidden by using spoiler tags.
