Watching tonights (having only caught this since it's been on again), what was that he found in the field? I presume i've missed something having only seen a couple of episodes?

Opening scene of S2 is some medieval knights attacking a church and the priest burying his stuff by a standing stone. The artefact seems to be based on the Alfred Jewel which is thought to be the head of a pointer used for keeping your page in a bible.

I've read a recent interview with Crook, I think it was in the Radio Times, but he stated that this is the last series and will put a lot of things to bed and tie stuff up.
It's going to be great!

"They reminded me of... what do you call them? .....Simon and Garfunkle? ..... aholes!"

Can't wait.

I speak as one who at last got to do the Gold Dance myself. And we have a nemesis antagonist pair like Simon and Garfunkel - we call ours Mac and Cheese.
