Oh dear.

The special effects are better than the original.

Oh dear.

Careers are defined by these films. But this one not in a good way...sad.

I have to say the special effects on my phone at least look amazing. It's everything I wanted the first two to look like.

But that's what annoys me. Ive saw the first two trailers and can safely say I've now seen the film.

It's scene for scene the exact same as the first. This would be fine if there was adult humour in it. I watched ghostbusters as a kid and never realised how funny it was till I was much older.

This seems like in your face gags. You'd have to be a fking retard not to know that a certain scene was meant to be a gag and that's what pisses me off.

I'll go with the o/h and I'll guarantee she enjoys it or at least goes "that wasn't so bad".

I'm so disssapointed. These women just aren't funny. Whats happening to comedy, the 80s produced some sublime comedy films that were really clever. This is just American Pie crap humour.

I think that is the problem with a lot of yank comedies now.

The 80s was a watermark

Well I for one applaud the makers of this re-boot / squeal have they decided which it is yet? Anyway, I applaud the makers of this re-quel for their bravery!

So, so many films are ruined by their trailers that instead of giving you a taster, they give a 3 min 'greatest hits' of the film, all the best bits cut down and crammed in for maximum publicity - Ghostbuster, bless 'em, have gone the other way - they've made it look absolutely dire. A trailer so repugnant that it cannot possibly be all the best bits - because no film is that bad.

Bravo.

A lot of the times it wasn't what was said but how it was said that made the originals funny.

They didn't need a Oh hell no! (moves head side to side)

If and when it is free on Netflix I might try a few minutes...just to see if it really is as bad as I expect it to be...

Its becoming just a bandwagon thing, folks just hopping on to say how terrible it is, slagging it off, thumb downing it here and there. How about just not watching it.

Even that isn't enough to appease the SJWs

seeing the leaked plot from a guy who works in post production, and the latest trailer now basically confirms his reddit post, this film is going to be balls, a quick hatchett job of GB1 plot with crapper ghost ideas, and fk all plot exposition.

The annoying thing is if you say its crap, folk will scream at you that you are a anti-feminist monster....not just a criticising what is clearly a shoite film.

sigh.

is that not career suicide to leak the plot of a film your working on, im assuming that he can be traced fairly easily?

I like the way they have incorporated another stereotypically black black person.

All of the recent fuss at the Oscars etc., and they go ahead and put this character in the story. hehe

Having read the account he posted, you couldn't really say more than he worked at the company doing the post production.

Nothing saying he was involved IN the post production specifically, just that he saw it while it was. Not enough to identify anyone.

Having read the synopsis he posted, it's gone back from a 2.5/10 to a -13/10.

And yet it's strange there are still plenty of black actors wanting to play these roles. Ernie Hudson was the everyman character in the first film, but his race was completely irrelevant and never brought up in the script

Since I've been with these men, Mr Mayor, I have seen st that would turn you white. ...

It is mentioned in this indirect manner. Humourously and absolutely not in an offensive way.

Surely that's a reference to being so scared the colour drains from you as opposed to a racial reference? The mayor is white after all

Yeah.

The sad ting about Ernie's role is that it was reduced from a General who helped set up the thing to some johnny-come-lately who comes on as a basic handyman.
