No one can release a review before it comes out, pretty standard practice. They would say it's to avoid spoilers etc but it's usually because they know it's a bit crap and don't want to stop people seeing it on the opening weekend

No idea what reviews you have been reading/watching but no surprise it sucks big time. As we guessed, it is a man hating, "You go girl!" example of feminism gone too far. I expect women will go and see it for Chris Hemsworth but I am seriously hoping that no man would give his own cash to the people that created this rubbish.

Honestly, reading how they kill the final (male obviously) baddie tells me everything I need to know about this film.

First they ruined Mad Max and now women have ruined this too.

I've not seen it or heard anything about it, but if I was going to write a terrible ending it would have to be a girl power shot to the bad guys todger/nuts.
Predictable and funny in an extremely obvious (American humour) way.

The guardian rated it 4 stars.

A 4 star movie is die hard 3 good, or jurassic world good I'm my book.

Not as good as the first but fking close.

Anyone would think Sony have spent $154 million on a massive turkey and need to try and recoup their loses. Maybe the best way to this is to have a review embargo until after the film is released unless the review is good due to the reviewer being bribed by/scared of Sony. Maybe Sony threatened them with not being invited to other premiers if the review was not good.

The independent reviews have been absolutely terrible.

Ghostbusters may be ste but you have a long, long way to go.

I don't expect you'll get there, either.

Only 3/5 from Empire.

Less favourable reviews from Entertainment Weekly, Variety, Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair.

3/5 seems to be the new politically correct, 'safe' 1/5.

DOG and i09 reviews both seemed okay.

I think it would have to be damm near perfect and even then it wouldn't keep everyone happy.

By the sounds of it they've made a perfectly good comedy film about ghosts but everyone's got their knickers in a twist because women are in it and it's called Ghostbusters...

oh get to fk. Have you read the pages on here, or elsewhere. I cant recall one comment like "oh no its all women" or similar.

They have replaced witty, subtle, intelligent dark comedy with in your face slapstick ste. I guarantee I could write the jokes before I see them. I'll know the punch line straight away.

Imagine airplane now imagine it featuring adam sandler. That's what they've done.

Saw it earlier today and really quite enjoyed it, enjoyable nonsense well done.

Well worth a watch, just need to forget being a 45 year old cynical curmudgeon for a bit and release your inner 13 year old, not perfection but should do very well.

No going Friday. But seeing as I've seen the first two over a thousand times and all the trailers I don't need to see the movie to see the direction they have went In.

Remember bad grandpa, I saw the trailer and thought looks awesome. Every single semi decent gag I'd seen over and over In trailers. It was st due to that.
