I think you're all doing this a huge disservice. The casting of the two on the left is clearly a discrete play on the twinky scene from the original. I'm looking forward to seeing what other references they've managed to incorporate.

Great, they've got the token 'funny' fat bird in it. Never expected that!

I guess they just don't make them like they used to.

What - you mean they actually ate the twinky that was 35ft long, weighing approximately 600 pounds.

.....all this time I thought it was just an analogy. biggrin

I'll still watch it, if only for the sake of morbid curiosity. After all there have been some good remakes/reboots so there's always a chance it can work................
Help? Struggling to think which ones you mean... SCARFACE - that's one! biggrin
Star Trek is a fantastic reboot of the originals. I love the 2003 version of The Italian Job too.

Batman Begins, The Dark Knight & The Dark Knight Rises, poor speaking audio quality and grumpy voices excluded. So much better than the previous camp Batman films, need I remind anyone about the nipples on the Batman suit.

I was genuinely ready to give this a go, I really was, despite everything...

But no. Just no.

This has to be a wind up... I could have knocked something up as a more convincing Ecto 1 in my garage!

There's nothing wrong with the new Italian Job film if you remember that its NOT a remake, just a reboot.

The original IJ had some pretty weak areas, its just that this was massively overlooked because the driving sequences were so good.

Apparently Dan Ackroyd will also appear and has already filmed a cameo.

Such a shame that Harold Ramis can't be included. I'm sure he's up in heaven curating his collection of spores, moulds and fungus.
