Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, they bring out a UK version.

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/a594522/storag...

here is the trailer, simply some of the worst acting I have ever seen.

should be great.

I am quite possibly the only person that actually enjoys the US show! It is strangely addictive especially when just pull figures of how much something is worth from thin air.

Ah, the fabled "pluck".

"I've got this police riot gear, these shields are $100 a piece, the batons are $50 each all day long, I've easily got over $2000 sitting here, Sean!"

Yes I also enjoy it, I am amazed they know the value of absolutely everything.

There is another similar programme called storage wars, this is actually probably real life. Many of the items are car boots goods. And more often than not worth very little.

every episode of storage hunters they find Indiana jones like treasures.

Do you think it may not be 100% realistic?

I think the regulars are contractually obliged to have a fight at least once per episode.

I'm sure the UK version will be equally horrific - can't wait smile

Best episode was when some berk thought they'd bagged a Lambo Countach for something like $4,000. It was a replica, based on a Pontiac Fiero. Or the shipping crate full of sweatbands someone paid $30,000 for thinking it was a Tesla.

Arp.

Looking forward to the UK version. I imagine the ste in the lockers will be even more spectacularly pathetic. Whole family is addicted to it chez nous.

Today, on Storage Hunters UK, we're in Slough, home of the.............well, make your own punchline up.

Has anyone noticed , baggage battles , on the travel channel ? One of the buyers is the eccentric English guy that Barry Weiss off the other locker programme goes to for valuations , only every time he finds an oddity in a bag he has to get it valued himself ! You would almost think it was all done for TV

Storage Hunters is one of my guilty pleasures. Hopefully the UK version won't fail to amuse.

I much prefer Storafge Wars to Hunters. Mostly because of Barry's humour.
