24h covered in your own piss in a greenhouse. That's going to smell a bit funky at the end smile

They'll have to go against convention and use a yellow flag. hehe

That was a hugely impressive effort. It appeared that they could have gone significantly further if they had had better luck with the weather.

I wonder if anyone will be crazy enough to try and beat their record?

Yep fair do's to them. 24 hours (nearly) in that and sat in your own sweat and piss biking over 500 miles. Nice job.

Shouldn't be the same record as a 2 wheel tandem bike though.

They beat the record with design/engineering, which is cheating really. So it won't be a problem for superior athletes using a similar design to beat it.

And they wouldn't have gone that much further, perhaps another 25 miles, even if they'd maintained the pace through all the little breaks they had. Going for 24hrs, all the issues didn't significantly harm the average speed by more than ~1mph.

You could say that about almost any World record.

I thought it was a brilliant achievement, I certainly couldn't have done it.

The World Record for free-falling was beaten this week. Did you bother watching?

Nope, me neither. It was only 8m more.

You have to have the spark first.

Should have had perforated seats, that's one design feature they could have improved on.

Great effort

They should have waxed the canopy or put rain X On it so rain ran off easily.
