I'm not ashamed to admit that I'm almost infeasibly excited for this... I've watched the trailer 4 times already!

Spader doing Pinnochio was incredibly creepy smile
Fianlly got round to watching the trailer and yes Spader sounds dangerous.

But then as i've been watching him in The Blacklist his voice now carries a high level of implied threat.

ps. I once had to swerve off the "tank tracks" (you should know where I mean) on my mountain bike as I was riding as quick as I could down them and a bloody tank turned on at the bottom... and he wasn't going to move.
Thankfully I fell off the bike as it went on to hit a tree full speed and snapped the frame. I got such a bking from my Dad for that :'(
but you as the cyclist should have right of way, bloody tanks and ignorant army drivers.... whistle

The scenes in the street were very reminiscent of the first Avengers film but other than that it looked promising.

The trailer has had over 41 million views on Youtube.

I think around 1 million of them are mine.

Really looking forward to this, really liked Avengers Assemble, and I've JUST watched Winter Soldier this afternoon so seen the little post-credit bit biggrin

Not sure what origin story Wheadon is going with but Ultron is basically A.I.

But he is also pretty broken... And has a full range of emotions.

Pretty dam dangerous to say the least.

This one is the teaser though so I expect vision in the first full trailer (he's already appeared on the comic con poster)

So will the big fall out that leads to civil war happen in Age of Ultron, or have I missed it through not watching Agents of Shield?

Anyone seen the new footage they just released? Nothing major but a bit of good interplay between the Avengers:

Hold on - Cap can move Thor's hammer?!

What the actual fk?

That's huge, and must lead to something. If it can be moved it can be lifted, and Cap is fundamentally a humble bloke.

Mind blown. Marvel are really shifting the goalposts with this...

It's the look on Thors face laugh Well the point of Mjölnir is who ever is worthy, and Cap is fairly up there with the noblist of men.

Yep - not to mention Thor's reaction when he did move it.

Thor's face was a picture!

Challenge with the worthiness angle is it puts a distinct good/bad side to Civil War, which was never apparent in the GNs. Both sides are supposed to come to opposite conclusions through valid ideals.

Apparently this is in line with the comics - Cap is one of the 'worthy' who can wield Mjölnir. The reaction shot when it moved was probably the best bit of that whole scene.

?
I'm not a comic book geek by any stretch, but I thought it was general knowledge that Cap, and a select group of others, have been able to lift the Hammer.

Not the first time someone has been able to move his hammer. It is more to show that Cap is a fundamentally good person rather than throw a superpowered Cap into the works.

<geek mode>
Although Cap has wielded the hammer in the Books.
So has Superman, Wonderwoman, Storm and Beta Bill.

Serveral actually.

Captain America was one of them. Along with Storm and Rogue from X men.
