He'll never replace MRJ, but I think he did a good job.

Like how Greg is now introduced as a 'Seasoned Diner' laugh What's that supposed to mean?
I'm guessing that it means he's eaten loads but can't cook for toffee..

Who died at the end?
Possibly one of the MC team?

Agree! Though as said, made a good job of it and have never seen him smile so much. Think he will probably improve as the show develops.

Well, that's his full Sunday title.

Only his mum calls him that.

I totally agree.

It would be much better without him.

I think they put salt on him, on the basis that he kind of resembles a slug...

I've always thought that MW was an arrogant censored compared to MRJ whenever he's appeared in the series before so as a result wasn't intending to watch this series when I found out MW replaced him.

However I gave it a go and was pleased to see that MW's arrogant censored setting had been turned down a notch or two and he actually came across well.

When it was announced MRJ was leaving over the rooster spuds I have to say i was gutted. He leaves big shoes to fill and I'm also a massive MRJ fan. However I thought I'd give it a chance then I saw Marcus Wareing in it, of whom I'm really not a fan. Fortunately it looks like he has been coached on how not to be a nasty bd all the time and a bit more constructive with his critisms. Still unsure on life after MRJ but it does look like the format still works.

Well after 2 shows he seems ok? Long way to go though.

People who watch a lot of BBC food programming have been noting for a while that he had a personality transplant a few years back.

Maybe he realised that people were fed up of the Gordon Ramsey style of criticism?

Or someone has been lacing his dishes with valium

They were a st bunch tonight, made yesterday's lot look amazing. That Jethro guy's attempt to hide a receding hairline with that daft beard was ill-advised, and everything that Jogi cooked looked like st. And did I see the start of the program right that the young lad was out of work? I wouldn't have thought they'd let him waltz on the program if he didn't have a job, hardly a "professional" if he is just cooking at home.

Think "running a micro-bakery from home" was the phrasing used! Or was that someone else?

Yeah he does seem to be doing an ok job so far. I still think Wallace shouldn't be in the professional series.
