Anyone eaten anything like the chicken stuffed trotter?
Id rather eat a donner kebab sober!

The trotter was up there with the sea urchin from a couple of years ago.
I dunno... I'd try it. Wouldn't order it necessarily but I'd try it.

I see your point Tony. It was all about boning.

:fnar: seriously long long day hehe

Hardly a chef challenge really imo. A bit silly for TV.

Pretty sure I had pigs trotter in a motorway truckers cafe south of Madrid. Was pretty good as all the cartilage and bone turns to tasty stuff after they cook it for 2 days....

Yep! High praise indeed for her pudding and, think she will do well with the critics with her philosophy of keeping it simple.

The standard this year has been poor - the skills tests in particular have been shockers. I don't buy this "it's nerves" excuse that a lot of the chefs come out with, nerves are one thing but a lot of them simply don't know what they are doing and there is no hiding that.

One of lads on this week was a head chef at 21 and he was st, if you're a head chef at 21 you're either the only bloke in the kitchen or you're a talent of incredible stature, guess which one this numpty was.
