That was great - I should have had a quid on the guv’nor.
Some lovely looking dishes, and it really did matter to them - a view of the fragility of Grace, further seen in the jungle, and the emotion from William. They will judge with different eyes next time around.

Grace's "Five minutes and I can take my bra off..." really cracked us up.

It was the most entertaining hour's TV we watched over Christmas and a great way to round off the Masterchef year.

You can see the honest pressure on them and out of their comfort zone for sure. Jay seem like a nice honest bloke and deserved winner.

Really pleased Jay won. He’s such a funny character. Miss him on the “Out to Lunch” podcast. Ade isn’t the same at all. frown

It will be interesting now to see how these food critics will treat and comment on future Masterchef contestants, seeing how the pressure got to them.

I think Grace was totally sincere when she said she would see them through different eyes. Surprised at Sitwell's emotion - I'd always seen him as a typically buttoned-up member of the aristo class smile

Finally watched it, agree on the above. Jay impressed and it was nice to see emotion from Grace and William.

Really good, enjoyed it

Agree, he looks like he can enjoy a full plate.

His fish dish would have been my choice. I liked the look of his ribs, when Ii first saw the chillies, I thought that it might be inedible.
