I'm enjoying it - and the cast really good.

Good to see BBC bringing a genuinely good series to compete against Sky Atlantic

Really enjoying this so far, i prefer the approach like this rather than the 1 hour specials where its 1st 15mins the crime, 30mins investigation then 15mins solve then reveal. And Ken Stott is one of my favorite actors of all time...yes really if you've seen the Debt collector with Billy Connolly you'll know what i mean...

Superb plot with some great acting especially from Nesbitt. Like the different timelines running throughout. It's slow paced but quite tense, with several sub plots. A very interesting and intriguing drama.

Is the book already on sale - a relative lives overseas would be a good stocking filler.

Are they really going to turn it into a book? It's just a telly series.

If so, it would be a bit silly to release it before the series has completed its run since that would give away the story.

Yes, another good BBC drama, will keep me entertained for the next few weeks, lots of twists and sub plots. Worth the £2.90 a week I pay!

He was taught to act by Joey from Friends.

Could be, he's certainly in something up to his eyeballs.

I'm still waiting to find out how the French detective got the limp. I was expecting him to get shot in the leg and lose the car big time. What more does he have to do to get mangled.

Last night I kept thinking of that end scene with the camcorder.

Scared me.

Yes, another great ending but I did find myself thinking, would they really have shown him the footage?

I definitely thought there was going to be gunshots or a running-over from the driver of the black 5 Series

I'm enjoying this thoroughly, I thought the ending last night was fantastic. No reveal yet on what Ken Stott was painting, which is interesting.

Great drama, slow but its very tense. It took me a while to figure it out but copper is Tom from Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Really want to know what the guy was painting, and how copper and Tony's wife (fking bh) end up getting together. A lot to be revealed yet. Also who killed Antoine at the railway.

Also, REALLY hope that journalist, Malik Suri, gets whats coming to him.
