There are now three girls in the rollercoaster picture:
But could there not be a whole trainload of missing girls?

WAIT! Missing children, small town amusement park....it's an episode of ScoobyDoo!
He'd have gotten away with it, if he wasn't meddling with kids ... sorry, I mean 'if it wasn't for those meddling kids'

The provocative picture of her in an earlier episode, probably something to do with that. Maybe.
And there was a bloke behind her in that pic - I have not looked at it again but it might be someone other than her husband who is now in prison! She is ex-army - the mother of the third girl?

Never mind all that. When Baptiste meets the younger copper in 2014 outside the Volvo dealers, why are all the cars in the showroom so old? I'm sure there was a pair of 260-style fronts in there.

I said the same, I assumed it was closed!

I also picked up on that, but in the flashbacks she doesn't actually see/speak to Army woman (that we've seen!)

It's a great show, but by god it's convoluted. All back and forward. And some ISIL for good measure (WTF was that all for?! rofl )
Yeah she does..... right at the very beginning.... Army woman breaks the news to mum that the girl (Alice?) is back. She is very pregnant then!

That ex Volvo dealer is still there, not far from Spa in Belgium - the 4 240's are still in the showroom..I happened to glance at the screen when the wife was watching this episode and she remembered me screeching to a halt to take a pic when we passed in July. It's on the n62 towards Malmedy, across from Lidl

AIUI zombie face girl on roller coaster is Sophie, one next to her is museum curators daughter and one behind is Alice who going by the necklace is now a bit Crispy. Having said that, she was a DNA match for the father - is that normal, not to match to both parents?

And was wifey just being a bh to red hat lady in the theme park as flash backs clearly show they interacted when she was heavily pregnant.

Dementia dad clearly heavily involved. Links to everyone. Sophie knew him and not in a good way plus he said something about Alice liking spiders to burnt dad before he pooped himself which burnt dad didn't pick up on. Still trying to figure out involvement of butcher and his wife tho. Somehow set up?

Butcher is innocent I think, picked out by "Alice" from the photo line up to throw the Police off the scent - hence her apology message to the butcher in "present day"

The butcher was identified after his arrest based on the receipt found in the hole in the ground.... definitely a set up. He was arrested, then the photo shown to Alice/Sophie... she knew who to pick out.

But I think it is to do with (or because of) his Mrs - who seems to have a bit of a interesting history! She's the one involved - maybe she organised the girls for the blokes - including the two senior Officers.

Good point - Sophie led them to the bunker in the forest where the receipt identifying the butcher was found...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Army PR bod may be involved too...

Luckily he has a drill knocking about with a 10mm masonry bit fitted - just the thing everyone has in base accommodation (where they count how many holes are in the wall when you move in). Still, a good twist after a sloooow episode.

I wonder if the 'favourite trousers' and buying things in two's will be significant?

Really enjoying this series, just as good, if not better than the first.

Lots of twists and turns!

What about the 'Yes Sir' outside the hospital. Is Miss Stone really his daughter? idea

I think that was more a response to his ordering her around, but the way things are going, who knows? smile

Some great twists last night - Certainly not going to fizzle out like The Fall...
