The live episode went very well. It was a much smoother affair than the last one.
I have to say Adam W, Cindy, Peter Jane Elliot were superb really bloody good.

Also the other lesser speaking roles tonight were really on it and performed great.

The core cast tonight were excellent, very well done to to all of them, obviously a commendation to the crew also, who made it look seamless, apart from two camera zooming moments. Also, it was Peter Beale's last night, or at least the last night with the current actor, according to the interview on the behind the scenes program. Bummer for him, running off into the night in a tuxedo, never to be seen again. A neat tie-up, saying as Lauren/Jacqueline Jossa has just dropped a sprog so will probably not be in it for a few months.

That was very slick - the BBC really is world class.

Mrs North East was thoroughly entertained, 5 stars to cast, writers and production crew.

Just a shame the story is the biggest load of bks ever. And for Eastenders that's saying something.

Great live episode, very slick from the cast. Bobby I wasn't expecting that at all. After a few more episodes we'll get to know more.

I wasn't expecting Kathy to return at all. I thought, and was rather hoping it would be Grant Mitchell.

Not a huge fan of Enders, but hats off to those who took part in tonight's live offering. I thought it all went rather well.

I've not seen last nights episode and only watched the Lucy episode on catch up last night.

Lucy was an irritating tosser wasn't she! Don't think I'd given it much thought up until now.

LAst night for him on set.

Bear in mind he has likely been filming non live stuff for six weeks before tonight which could still be seen later.

Why is he off? They have changed the actor once already so changing again if and whenever the character returns seems odd. (Did he fk up at some point driving that decision ?)

I had seconds to spare - who did you bet with and what were the odds?
I used Betvictor, the odds were 5/2 so put £20 on. They then gave me £20 free credit for being a new customer so I used that to put the same bet on again, only the odds were 10/3 by then. It was the first bet I've ever put on, no idea how odds work tbh. I came out with about £137.

With (apparent) over 300 people working behind the lense during yesterday's episode, I'd expect it to have been flawless.
No doubt half of them sat around doing nothing, with the bottomless pit of money the BBC have their grubby hands.

Well, I was thinking that actors manage theatre plays for three hours each night without making mistakes but then I suppose the people from Eastenders are just normal people and not necessarily trained actors. I think they did very well.

Sadly not the case as was confirmed with the £5.1billion spent on football that's c30% of total TV spend which is for 0.2% of the viewing time.... Well worth it isn't it.

That's a great result for you, well done! I'll check them out in the future.
