Two others I forgot:

Stephanie visiting the Orca tank following her accident - a very moving scene:

The 5 minute single-take stadium scene from The Secret in Their Eyes (no subtitles on the video unfortunately but watch it anyway!):

The whole 15-20 minute sequence with Robert Duvall as Lt. Col. William Kilgore in Apocalyspe Now.
The bank heist in Heat.
Neo & Trinity fighting their way through the entrance hall in The Matrix.
Going through the "stargate" in 2001.

Some excellent choices but don't think these have been mentioned yet (apologies if they have):

Men of Harlech scene from Zulu (stirs patriotic blood in the veins)

The chase scene from Bullet (including the moody jazz music that sets the tone)

The moment Reliant first meets Enterprise in Star Trek 2 (turned me into a life long fan)

When Carling (Ray Winston) collects the pool balls to start his attack in Scum

The 'Do ya feel lucky' scene from Dirty Harry.

Kill Bill trailer fight (one in the eye for Darryl)

Al P's tango in Scent of a Woman

Rutger's final speech in Blade Runner

The start of the race in Le Mans (1971) with McQueen in the car and the heartbeat rising as the flag goes down, followed by the bark of everything starting up.

The Death Star trench run at the end of Star Wars - I know it was almost a carbon copy of Dambusters, but it is hard not to get excited even after 20 years of watching it!

Saving Private Ryan - clearly the beach landing, but also hard to watch is Vin Diesel's character being taken apart by the sniper and then when the medic is bleeding out from the abdominal wound. The ending when old Jimmy Ryan falls to his knees in front of the headstone makes me tear up.

The Kingdom, when the FBI guy is taken in the building and the terrs are trying to behead him on video.

One Day - The final scenes of Ann Hathaway when she is cycling.

Alien - Dallas in the crawl spaces with the motion tracker.

Harold and Maude - please pick your suicide of choice - but particularly the ending scenes with the E-Type hearse.

Opening scene of Star Wars - A New Hope. Still makes me tingle 35 years after seeing it at the cinema.

Bank Heist - Heat
Do I amuse you? - Goodfellas
You're gonna need a bigger boat - Jaws
Tunnel chase - Ronin
Tilda Swinton busted - Michael Clayton
Farm House/Bar Scene - Inglorious Basterds
"open the window" - Salems Lot
Invading the beaches - Saving Private Ryan

To name a few....

I don't really care but this silly pedantry pervades PH way too much.
Appalling use of the apostrophe pervades PH too. Easiest way to stop the pedants? Learn how to use an apostrophe.

Paddy Considine's performance in Shane Meadows excellent "Dead Man's Shoes".

Watch the film, but the highlight is 1 min into this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58ylrJ0cH2w
Agreed. One of my top ten films of all time.

Also, hear me out, but Jean-Claude's monologue in JCVD is brilliant. I found it really touching. I can't find it online anywhere though frown

I hope I don't get shot down for choosing a tv programme but in the last episode of the latest series of Peaky Blinders I found the last 20 minutes absolute engrossing to the point of Oscar-type performance.

The scene where Tommy (Cillian Murphy) thought his time was up in the field and the aftermath was just spellbinding stuff.
