Farmhouse scene at the beginning of inglorious and the bar scene same film.
I hate Tarantino but there are some great moments in that film.
The scene in the farmhouse that you mention ends quite horribly but I love how Waltz's character toys with the farmer for such a long time, it's like he knows exactly where the people are but wants to play a game first. When he meets the cinema girl it's like he knows exactly who she is from that moment. He is scary without even trying.

Good lord! Makes ones eyes water.

For me the drop ship sequence in Aliens. The countdown, a moment of silence then drop!

Just before the end of Paris, Texas (in the cubicle). It's about 10 minutes long and all talk, but mesmerising.

When Watts and Keith kiss in Some kind of wonderful. I'm a sucker for those 1908s John Hughes films.

The opening of Star Wars as the massive Imperial ship enters the shot.
I have not seen Number 1, but I agree with 2 & 3.

On her majesty's secret service.
More a sequence than a scene , the escape from the cable car room all the way through to when he finds refuge with Diana rigg in the farmhouse.
Magic!

I practically wore out my VHS copy of Aliens! I could quote every line in it. Awesome action sequences. The franchise took a bit of a nose dive after that, Alien 3... I think they made some more after that...

I actually prefer the original shorter versions, the extended cuts drag it out too much, except for the sentry gun bits maybe!
