We were all guilty of ranting then, especially myself!
When the BBC, or any other media outlet, is not performing properly or to a standard one should expect, then complaints are entirely justified.
That does not mean that someone should be so eager to pounce that they fail to get their facts right. I'm all for clobbering a legitimate target.
