You have to ask then, what is the point in rushing out a trailer, 9 months before it releases, making everyone think the CGI will be rubbish?!
To get some buzz before the Star Wars one arrives tomorrow and causes the entire internet to crash
This.

When you've got a studio breathing down your neck you've just got to get something out there

I think it's fair to say that after today 2015 is shaping up to be a hell of a year in the cinema!

Didn't even realise this was in the pipework. As a huge kid at heart, dinosaur geek as a kid and lover of the first film I'll definitely be seeing it. However I'll remain pessimistic as not many good films seem to be made these days it seems......

Just seen the trailer and I'd say the success or failure of the entire thing depends on what that hybrid looks like
Wasn't it leaked already?

Going back to the old park possibly being part of the new film, apparently during filming they were soon trailering old battered ford explorers and jeep wranglers in full livery on to the set. This got me very excited!

Sounds good! Did they buy the explorers from this guy?

Very funny and as for the comments - some people are just terminally stupid.

If it looks like that then that's fine, I was worried it would be a sort of human/dino hybrid like the early concept art hinted

Oh my, I just googled the concept art yikes That would have been horrendous, although may have made an interesting film if completely seperated from the franchise.

Big claws the and looks ready to do the 100m sprint.

Though why not covered in feathers, seems to be the theory now? Better camouflage for hiding and citing off heads.

I still think the fact they felt the need to invent a dinosaur suggests a worrying lack of imagination from the film makers.

Well, one of the plots a few years ago, apparently, was a human dino hybrid.

Still going to see it though, I am a sucker for these films.

I dunno.

If this was real life I bet you rich kids would soon get bored of the same old Dinos. Once you've seen one game raptor you've seen them all. The owners of a park would soon start dicking around.

Regarding the feathers, isn't the isn't the reason the D-Rex is white because it can change colour? That's the rumour anyway.

Feathers mess up continuity with the previous films...I guess that's why its a "hybrid".
